The mandate of the CMMAA Technical Committee will be to establish the rules &
regulations for amateur MMA, across Canada. The Committee shall also develop,
implement and oversee the certification of coaches, judges and referees for amateur
MMA throughout Canada.
The rules & regulations and certification programs established by the CMMAA
Technical Committee shall be followed by The Ontario Mixed Martial Arts Association
and the New Brunswick Mixed Martial Arts Association. More PSOs are expected to
follow suit once Ontario & New Brunswick begin sanctioning events.
